I read your blog d...Elaine ~ First I'll say hi. I read your blog daily after finding it because I follow QuiltSocial. I don't post often however which I'm sorry for.

I can totally sympathize with you and your frustration. I have two bad knees and mobility is next to impossible. I still refuse to sit in the wheelchair we've had for me to use since about 2005/6 or so. I'm just too proud and feel like that's giving up. But you; YOU are always on the go so I know you have to be stressing over it so much more than I am. I have to ask if you linked to the right thing that you're taking in the post. You linked to a Dog Chew. Is that what you meant to do?

Have you spoken to your doctor again? Personally I say get the scooter for the show so you don't stress your knee to a point with all that walking that you can't do anything for weeks and weeks after that show. But, you can also speak with your doctor about a cortisone shot in your knee. That will help reduce the swelling/pain for you to get around much more without the pain you have now. I used to get those each year in November before our yearly trip to MI to hubby's family for Thanksgiving so I wasn't in the pain I get from that 5+ hour drive and because of that not being able to help the other women in the kitchen. The shot allowed me to walk almost pain free for as much as 6 months each time and my knees are shot with no cartilage in either one so they'd probably help you possibly even longer.
