We were picked up very early (7am) from our hotel and then off on a mini safari. It took almost 3 hours to get to Tsavo Park. And of course, we saw all kinds of crazy things along the way. I'm not using my keyboard this morning so typing could be even worse than usual.

And amazing how quickly we forget details.  We've moved around so much.

The soil in this park is RED. If you think PEI has red soil, this is redder if that's possible.  We stopped at one of those rest stops for tourists and bought a few small things. Now we need to find another one because we need something else. Sigh.......

This park is very well known for the red elephants. Yep, the elephants are red because of the soil. There was a watering hole close to the hotel in the park and I watched them for a very long time. Very entertaining especially the male elephants who needed to scratch themselves on the rocks. Enough said about that!!!

We drove around the park for a couple of hours and saw many elephants and lots of giraffes.  Then back to the hotel for lunch.

Forgot to mention that there was a light rain which helped to keep the dust down but with the roof of our van open, we got a bit wet. Not much and we were fine.. no sugarcubes in our house.

Of course we had a nap. Actually I don't think I had since since I watched those elephants for so long. Then back out fir a couple of hours and spotted more animals.

Our room was huge with the bathroom being almost as large as the rest of it. And super modern. Keep in mind, this is in the MIDDLE of a wild life park. I felt a bit guilty about that. We had screen doors on two sides of the room, but no glass. Yep all open. Even though it is winter here, the temperatures are fine. But can be cold!!!!

That's it for today.

have a great day

ciao

Back to hotel for dinner. Buffet again but I like buffet. Great food all around.

I'm sure when I go back and read these posts, I'll think a crazy person wrote them.

My eSim is working fine but have to restart my phone every morning to make it work. But it works. ESim is definitely the water to travel
