YES -- there were power lines that led into the lake. By Google maps, there used to be a path and you could see some form of old building? The lake must be flooded for a reason.

There are so many other birds here. The frogs last night as we sat by the fire was like an orchestra!!!

And that brings you more or less up to date!!!!!

I'm sad that the vacation is coming to an end. I honestly didn't think I'd make it the three weeks without getting anxious to get home and back to work. But I've caught the Afrian bug. I love the laidback pace - go nowhere fast and do nothing even slower! 

On the health front --- I'm pretty much myself again The toes are doing great, but it'll take another month for them to be completely new again. I still have a cough, but nothing serious so that is good. The inside of my mouth has pretty much healed as have the small sores on my lips. The insect bites are pretty much a thing of the past. 

What I really want is to get my hair clean. I just feel that it's filled with dirt!!!! I'm sure it's just fine, but it just feels really thick to me. Mind you, I've been washing it and putting it up which probably doesn't help. 

Well, everyone is still asleep. Get up get up -- It's my birthday and I want to get to our destination!!!!! The plan is not to leave for a couple more hours because everyone is a late sleeper. Sigh........ Pole pole
