Farmer's Wife/Hobo Quilts February Reveal

Well it was reveal day for Hobo Quilts and Farmer's Wife.

Now this is NOT a $10 class like the Spring has Sprung. The participants paid more for the class upfront and it is up to them to keep up to date. Both of these quilts are ONE year projects and the plan is to have a a FINISHED quilt top by the reveal later in the year. How many blocks each person decides to do and what setting?????    We will have to wait until later in the year to see the results.

Let's start with Hobo Quilts................

Here is the book we are working from
Liz's blocks. I love the bright colours.
Sharon is thinking of jumping into the fray, but she did not have time to get her work done for this class.

Here are the homework blocks for NEXT month.

Here are all my blocks. YES - I am up to date with this quilt as well. Now how did that happen?????   Well the blocks are fairly easy - both the pieced blocks and the appliqued blocks. Let's hope I can manage to keep up because if I fall behind - well it will be hard to catch up with all of them.

Then we moved onto Farmer's Wife.

Barb R.

Diane

Donna

Rose S

Elaine S

Sharon N (her last block got left at home)

And Lynn is also going to work on this quilt, but did not have blocks for show n tell. She will need to get them done because getting behind is NOT GOOD. The blocks are very easy and so far all based on a 3 by 3 grid with very basic units.

My 10 blocks from the first month

Homework blocks for this month (NOTE - there are FOUR missing). I have them cut out, but just ran out of time to get them together. Later today!!!!!!

All my Farmer's Wife blocks to date.

Wow - pretty cool. And all so different depending on the fabric choices. Stay tuned - the quilts are going to be gorgeous.

These two quilts were part of my SECOND and THIRD class of yesterday, but neither was the main attraction. That is yet to come.

Have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ciao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
