Great progress......................

I love when I have a productive day.  As you know, I have a couple of pressing things and that scenario will continue for the next couple of weeks.

So when I got home yesterday, the question was - which one should I work on? I decided that I was going to get the quilt that was loaded on the long arm quilted. At least started.  Since it is my quilt, I scrounged through my batting pieces to find something to piece together for the batting.  AHA - three pieces should do the trick.  Joined the batting and got everything loaded.  Choose the thread color, loaded the pattern and away I went.

I got about 1/3 done and then decided that Lexi and I had better get some exercise. I think she wrote about it on her blog. That dog is just a lunatic and I call her Lunatic Lexi now.

Before going to bed, I decided that I really should do a couple more passes on the quilt so I wouldn't have so much to do tonight. Next thing I knew, the quilt was done!

My quilt - DONE

If I'm lucky, I should have it bound and ready for Canada Day.  Yeah right - who am I kidding!

But I'm glad that I pushed on because that frees up the entire evening today when I have a couple more things that need to get done pretty soon.

On that note - I'm out of here.

Have a super day!

Ciao!

    1. Margaret - thanks. The quilt got a serged "binding" and then hung in the Quilts of Valour booth at Quilt Canada. I think it got shipped to Ottawa by accident. Now to track it down and get that binding on! It is a free download on Northcott's website. Elaine
