Productivity is on the rise!!!!

I am not sure what has happened to me. Normally (even though I have deadlines all the time), I am NOT able to stick to them. I get bored and get distracted very easily. Well this week - I have been focused like I've never been.

I got all the pictures appliqued onto the quilt this morning. Loaded it on the machine and COMPLETED all the quilting. I had a lot of fun with the quilting and now I realize that I need to play. I need to get out my OWN quilt tops and play with those.

As I quilted this, I got to thinking about the seniors in my life. Who they are - what they do - what stories they have to tell. The hands in the quilt were traced from the residents and you can see the arthritis in the bent fingers. The size of the hands - from tiny to HUGE. A lot of stories. I hope they enjoy it. It was a lot of fun to work on.

I did not get it completely trimmed or the binding made (yes - this one happened too quick for me to even get that binding made). I was hoping, but went out for dinner and now it is too late. I need to get to bed.

When you read this on Saturday morning (or sometime this weekend) - I am likely to be on my bike (hopefully NOT in the rain, but it looks like it is going to rain).
