Oh my -- something bad has happened. I'm in total denial, but even I can't ignore this.

I woke up yesterday with a bit of dizziness, but it quickly disappeared. I woke up several times in the night, and I knew that something wasn't right. And I feel worse this morning. I NEVER feel like this. I'm always ready to go the minute I get up, and well, I'm lagging this morning.

I say that in case the blog post sounds off. I can think of two things that be at the root of this - blood pressure is really low - I'm charging up the monitor as I write, and secondly - badly dehydrated. Let's hope it's as simple as that. I'm not sure that I can even go for a walk this morning, and for me to say that - well, you know that I'm not well.

I'm NEVER sick - I can't be sick!

Anyway, I'll be fine. I have a couple of things on the agenda today, nothing too strenuous, and I'll see how it goes.

Yesterday we had a ton of chickadees at the feeder. They were quite happy to check out the menu selection.

This is the next group of half-square triangles that I'm sewing. They are cutoffs from a quilt that I did years ago. They were nicely organized in a Ziploc bag.

But you'll be happy to note that I have thrown these little triangles away.

These ones did NOT get saved

And these ones went in the pet mat filler box as well.

Nor did these ones

Yes - it's time to move on and start cleaning up this mess, and that means - NOT adding to it!!

Diane is going gangbusters with cleaning up the bags of scraps. I had given her a "few" bags of flannel, and she is madly making baby quilts.

I got a HUGE bag of quilt tops, bindings, and backings from her the other day. She still has more to sew!! Gosh - she's been busy. By the time the pandemic is over, we might be done all the scraps!

I was playing in different colored scrap boxes yesterday: this time, grey, black and white.

And I have a couple more customer quilts done!

Yesterday was such a gorgeous day - I sure hope you got a chance to get out and enjoy it. Murphy and I were out playing ball in the backyard. Gosh - she is such a goof and loves her ball. And I swear she intentionally drops it in the pond, hoping she'll be invited to dive in and rescue the ball!

It was so nice, and the restaurants opened up yesterday - well, the patios did, and we were off for dinner. That beer tasted so nice!! It's been a while!!!

OK - -that's it for me. I think I might go back to bed! ACK! I never do that. But not before I have a big glass of water.

Have a good day, and let's hope this passes quickly.

  1. Oh so sorry you're not feeling well. Hopefully the water and a nap is just what you need! Have a restful day :-)

  2. if you don't get better go to the Dr. Never can tell whats wrong!
