I purchased this pattern MANY years ago. The pattern was published in 2001 - so yes many years ago. If anyone is interested in learning MANY MANY techniques - this is the pattern. Too late to start the class now, but you can enjoy it from the blog.
The first class was in February and we started with the center which is an eight pointed star. Here is the homework that we saw in March.

WOW - those are going to be some pretty amazing quilts. Some people fussy cut the diamonds in the star - alternated colours - awesome job.
Hmmmm - I see that there are 27 in the class and only 17 pictures. Let's see what happened the next month.
The class was then given MORE homework and sent off to complete a feathered star. Have a look at what they brought in April.

Hmmmmmm - I see we picked up a few and dropped a few, but we have only 18. I know some people have been tied up with family issues, making costumes and a few more things.
Isn't that just spectacular!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing homework ladies! Very impressive.
This past month - they had to make some paper piecd fans and this is the result . Yep - only got 15 this time, but I know I missed Linda's. Oh well - they will get caught up for next month.
