It's NOT too late!!!!!

OK - here we go for a BLATANT self serving announcement!!!!

Here is the information about the MARATHON classes I am scheduled to teach for 2012. All of them are filling up FAST and if you are wavering – you must act NOW in order to get a spot.

Cockadoodle Quilts   (http://www.cockadoodlequilts.com/)

The Christmas Club meets on the THIRD SATURDAY of each month. (Note – January meeting is on the second Saturday). There is NO meeting in July and August.

There are TWO quilts to choose from:

O Tannenbaum by Quakertown quilts –  This quilt is gorgeous, 57” square, requires paper piecing – you WILL learn a few new things about paper piecing, piecing and applique.

A Critter Christmas by Brandywine Design. This is a very cute Christmas quilt (50 by 56”). Requires piecing and applique.

1.

2.

The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe  (http://thehobbyhorsequiltshoppe.com/)

These sessions take place on the FOURTH SATURDAY of each month. (NOTE – there is NO meeting in July, August or December)

There are TWO choices

Spring has Sprung – by Country Quilts. 65 by 71”. Folk art style of quilt with lots of applique and some piecing.

DEAR JANE – yes we are going to do DEAR JANE. The finished quilt is 80 by 80 inches. Lots of piecing, lots of applique – project will continue for a second year.

Ruti’s Needlebed (http://home.interlog.com/~ruti/)

There are TWO choices

1.       Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler  (Elm Creek Sampler) – a collection of 140  (6 inch) blocks. While this class started in January 2011, it will continue until June 2012. If you are part way through this project and need help – this is the place to get it.
Meets – the THIRD TUESDAY at 10:30 AM.

2.       Techniques from Marti Michelle – if you have any of Marti’s tools and not sure what to do with them, you will be inspired by each class as  a new tool/technique is reviewed
Meets – EVERY TWO MONTHS – FOURTH WEDNESDAY

If you are interested in any (or ALL???) of these classes – PLEASE contact the appropriate store and get signed up!!!   They need to order books/patterns and the quicker you sign up, the better the chance you get your book/pattern on time.

Some of you are thinking that is TOO BIG of a project for me. This is the beauty of these type of classes – you work on a small part of the pattern each month in easy chunks and at the end of the year – your quilt is done. You will have learned a lot, made new friends and basically had a great time.

Have you already started one of these projects??   Well you are welcome to join in and get the motivation/incentive you need to get it finished!!!!

For class fees – PLEASE CALL the appropriate store.

If you have any other questions – let me know – otherwise please call the appropriate store and SIGN UP. They all promise to be loads of fun in 2012.

Don't hesitate to have a look at the newsletters of these stores and Brampton Sew n Serge - I have classes scheduled at all four stores.

And if that wasn't enough - I have some dates at my house.
